Born in Alabama in 1957, Anthony Ray Hinton was 29 years old when he was wrongly convicted of the murders of two restaurant managers. Held on death row for nearly 30 years he was finally released on 3 April 2015 after his appeal was taken right up to the US Supreme Court, which ruled that his case should be retried. Since his release he’s become a popular and powerful speaker, planning to devote the rest of his life to help counter discrimination, bolster justice and share his message of hope and forgiveness.

Super gut und verstänlich geschrieben!Berührt einen sehr und man kann es kaum abwarten zu einem guten Schluss zu kommen! Es regt zum denken an und sollte von vielen vielen mehr gelesen werden. Werde ich auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen

First Chapter was a little slow and dry. BUT THEN ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜… This book was full of emotions. I laughed, I cried, I had goosebumps; a lot. This book makes you emphasize 100% with the author who went through hell and back. History was made. Racism, innocence, guilt, love, hatred. This book has it all. It is a very good read and hard to put down. I absolutely hope Anthony Ray Hinton will have all the love and happiness he deserves for the rest of his life.
